Sarah Gillespie presents a detailed visual exploration of the Slapton Ley National Nature Reserve in south Devon. A series of large-scale charcoal drawings and oil paintings capture the ever-changing atmosphere of the largest freshwater lake in southwest England. A haven for waterfowl and wildlife, the lagoon, the famous shingle bar of Slapton Sands, and the coastline of Start Bay are in a constant state of flux as the elements reshape the landscape from season to season. Two editions are available: a hardback and a specially produced signed Collector's Edition of 250 copies which includes a signed Limited Edition print of a stunning charcoal drawing of Slapton Ley.
